Event Info

The Disposable Film Festival is proud to present, The Concrete Kitchen: A Night of Food and Film Focused on Urban Farming. In partnership with Pie Ranch, Real Food Media, ForageSF, Alemany Farm, CityBees, Dandelion Chocolate and Arizmendi Bakery as well as our Chef David Stockhausen, we will be pairing each course with a short film or series of films focused on the topic at hand. We are also very honored to announce Jered Lawson, Executive Director of Pie Ranch, Chris Tittle, Director of Organizational Resilience at the Sustainable Economies Law Center and Anna Lappe as our guest speakers for the evening. Anna is the founding principal of the Small Planet Institute and is the head of the Real Food Media Project, which is an initiative created to help spread the story of sustainable food using creative movies, an online action center, and grassroots events…like this one!
